Raven Cheer Team places fourth at UCA National Championship in Orlando
The Coffeyville Community College Cheer Team ventured to Orlando, Florida, the weekend of January 15 and came back with a fourth place finish in the junior college division of the 2010 UCA Cheerleading Nationals held at Walt Disney World. The Ravens trained for months for their moment in the sun and their performance reflected well on their efforts. Cheer Team hosting Stunt Fest 2010 in April
The Red Raven Cheer Team is hosting Stunt Fest 2010 on April 10. Over 100 athletes from three states ranging in age from junior high through varsity squads are expected. Red Raven Cheerleaders from eight states will join staffers from UCA, NCA, and Champion to host this annual event. Guest instructors from Sam Houston State University as well as Pittsburg State University will instruct students. All-girl and co-ed stunting will be taught for every skill level. The cost is $25 per athlete, or $80 for a four-girl group. Registered athletes will receive a free t-shirt.

CCC Cheer Team wins at summer camps
The Coffeyville Community College (CCC) Cheer program started the season off strong
while attending summer camps this August. The 2009-10 Raven cheer squad consists
of about 60 team members divided into two different squads, a large coed and all-girl

Raven cheer supporting college teams
The Red Raven cheer team can be seen in action at most home and road games for football and basketball. The enthusiastic support they provide for the college helps make CCC a great environment for success.
The cheer team perform at Raven football and basketball games and in numerous competitions and performances through the nation. The CCC cheer members also work with many community organizations and host annual youth clinics.
Graduates of CCC cheer have gone on to cheer at many prestigious universities including Connecticut, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Wichita State, Northwest Missouri and Stephen F. Austin.
