Introduction

 

Chartwell’s Dining Services provides complete catering services for Coffeyville Community College and its surrounding community.  Arrangements may be made for any occasion from the most formal black tie dinner to a simple coffee service.  Menu suggestions and ordering details are provided to assist you in your planning process.

Policies and Procedures

 

Reserve a Room

When you establish a definite date and time for your event, contact us at (620) 252-7266 to reserve a room.  It is the responsibility of the client to make arrangements for tables, chairs, audio-visual equipment and any additional needs.

 

Select a Menu

At least ten days prior to your event, call our office to discuss food and beverage service for your event.  Various selections are listed in this guide, but feel free to present your own ideas and we will customize a menu to suit your event.  Our staff possesses the knowledge, flexibility and expertise to tailor our services specifically to your event.  In case of dietary restrictions, we request a 48-hour notification to provide alternate selections.

 

Guarantee the Reservation

Call the office a minimum of 48 hours prior to your event and advise the number of guests expected to attend.  This will guarantee the reservation.  We will prepare for 5% over the anticipated number.  We will charge according to your guaranteed number of guests or actual number of guests, whichever is the greater.

 

Pricing Policies

Unless otherwise noted, our prices include the cost of linen tablecloths and napkins.  We would be pleased to purchase centerpieces or other décor for your event at an additional cost as a convenience to you.  The cost of any extra personnel required or extra service for off site events will be reflected on your invoice.

 

Payment Policies

A 50% deposit is required when arrangements have been finalized and a price has been determined with the balance due the day of the event.  College departments and related organizations can provide us with a Purchase Order and account number in lieu of a deposit.  If your organization is tax exempt, please provide us with your tax exemption number prior to the event.  Otherwise, a sales tax will be incurred.

 

All listed prices are subject to change.  Price verification is available at the Dining Service office.  All unused food remains the property of the Dining Services.

 

All costs resulting in property damage or personal injury caused by irresponsible or negligent acts of our patrons while utilizing our facilities will be the financial responsibility of such patrons.

 

Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours prior to the event with no penalty.  Cancellations occurring within this 48 hour period prior to the event will be assessed a 25% service charge of the finalized invoice.  Events cancelled within 24 hours of event time will be assessed 50% service charge of the finalized invoice

 

Events booked or ordered with less than 72 hours notice will be charged an additional charge of 15% late booking fee.

 

Delivery Charges

There is no charge for events held within the Student Union.  Delivery for events held off the College Campus will be charged $35.00 per round trip within a 25 mile radius of the college and $75.00 per round trip not to exceed $150.00 for events held beyond 25 miles.

 

Food Safety

Food safety is a high priority for Chartwell's Dining Services.  Therefore, we reserve the right to limit, restrict, or deny removal of leftover food by the customer.  Please do not remove, dispose or repackage remaining items.  To ensure safety and sanitation for customers and guests, a Chartwell's representative will remove all items in a timely manner.

 

Alcohol and Bar Service

For Alcohol Service held within the Student Union may be necessary to obtain state licensing.  For information on fees and on obtaining these licenses, please contact the Chartwell's office.  Security charges of $20.00 per hours are required for all alcoholic functions held on campus.

Scrambled eggs, hash browns, choice of meat, biscuits and gravy or pancakes, assorted mini pastries and fresh fruit tray, coffee, juice and water.  $8.45 per person.

Assortment of juices, bagels with cream cheese, and fruit yogurt.  $4.25 per person.

Chicken Caesar Salad - $8.25 each

Crisp Romaine lettuce tossed with croutons, parmesan, red onion, black olives, chopped egg, chicken breast meat and Caesar dressing and a roll or breadstick.  Light dessert included.

Crisp iceberg lettuce, deli ham and turkey, cheddar cheese, sliced egg, tomato, cucumber, red onion, choice of dressing and a roll or breadstick.  Light dessert included.

 

President's Grilled Chicken Sandwich - $8.25 each

Grilled chicken breast, grilled onions, Swiss cheese on Kaiser roll served with toss salad, chips and pickle.  Light dessert included.

 

Club Sandwich - $7.70 each

Three pieces of white or wheat toast filled with bacon, turkey, Swiss or American cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise, chips, pickle, light dessert.

 

Grilled Chicken - $8.50 each
